Pocket Rods - Metric or Standard Measurement

The Pocket Rod is available in inches or metric units, looks like the average retractable tape measure in size and appearance..but IT'S NOT! Pull the metal tape all the way out of its housing and it straightens right out into a semi-rigid upright or horizontal scale. Set on the ground or floor and the numbers read from the ground up. when finished, just insert the top end of the Pocket Rod tape into its plastic housing and simply push the tape back in.

The standard Pocket Rod (#585) is 6 1/2 ft tall with bold black numbers on a white background on one side and red numbers on a white background on the other side.

The metric Pocket Rod (#586) is 2 meters tall and has the same colors as the standard.
