This hands-on workshop will delve into the more complex elements involved in shooting reconstruction. This workshop provides an A-Z approach to reconstructive factors based upon effective documentation, evidence recovery, evaluation and ultimate reconstruction.
The hands-on approach to an actual shooting incident will allow students to explore reconstructive techniques and the creation of demonstrative illustrations for testimony.
Course includes:
- Understanding weaponry/ammunitions
- Crime Scene Management/Preservation
- Documentation/Perspective as a reconstructive factor
- Measurements; Lasers & Sketches
- Gunshot Residue as a reconstructive factor
- Evaluating clothing as evidence (Trajectories, Gunshot Residues)
- Reconstruction of actual shooting event(s)
